Websites can be created and maintained by individuals, groups, businesses, or organizations that are used to serve various purposes. Together with all publicly accessible websites it forms the World Wide Web. Although sometimes referred to as a “web page”, this definition is incorrect, because a website consists of several parts of a web page.
